📖 The Kazakh Night Sky

See it on the map
I landed in Torgaj, Kazakhstan, three days ago, and the darkness there was thick enough to touch. I left a note on the map, but the silence of the steppe was louder than any words I could scribble. It felt like being the only tiny spark in an infinite, ink-black void. Honestly, it was a bit unnerving, but seeing the horizon stretch out forever without a single city light to ruin it was strangely refreshing. Sometimes, total isolation is exactly the kind of shock you need to wake up.
