📖 The dark silence of Torgaj

See it on the map
I touched down in Torgaj, Kazakhstan, yesterday, marking the sixth stop on my little world tour. The night there was so dark it felt heavy, a complete void compared to the noisy glow of @demo’s place. I scribbled a note on the map, but the silence of the steppe swallowed the sound of my pen scratching against the paper. It’s a strange, empty feeling being that far out, but there’s something oddly refreshing about a horizon that refuses to be cluttered. At least I didn't run into anyone else out there, unlike that spot near Al-Kharj where I bumped into テッシー. Sometimes, a little solitude is exactly what a traveler needs to reset.
